REGULATE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTING ACTIVITIES AT LOCAL AND NATIONAL LEVEL

The directive No.36/CT-TW dated on 25th June, 1998 by the Political Bureau on strengthening the environmental protection in the period of national industrialization and modernization set clearly that environment protection is the most common issue of interest within the nation and at all the level, including our Party, army and society. Following this Directive, from the year 2001, the national budget for environmental protection has distributed directly to each units in the management body. |

There are a number of activities in annually environmental protection in relevant Ministries and agencies. Some significant achievements are: Educational activities, propagandas on public awareness strengthening, organize the World environmental Day, Strategy for Cleaner World, Clean water and Sanitation week, examine the fullfilment of national offices in following the legislations and regulations on environmental protection, access the state of the environment in branches and industries, establish legal documents in different sections in order to help protecting the whole environment. |
