Development of the model for ex-situ preservation of rare and precious species of lumber trees that are listed in the Red Book in the Natural Reserve of Ba Vi, Ha Tay Province;

Conducting surveys, assessments, statistics and development of files for management of mangrove forests and wet lands that are of international significance to provide a basis for the State to consider and to propose recognition thereof as the international mangrove forests and wet lands;

Conducting surveys, assessments and reviews of the national plan on bio-diversity to provide a basis for the development of the plan for the 2006-20101 period;

Development of the National Report on Bio-diversity submitted to the Secretariat of the Convention on Bio-diversity (CBD); and

Development of the Ramsar Convention Report.
