International cooperation

bullet Built the Cooperational Forum amongst coutries: Vietnam, Lao and Campuchia in the environmental field.
bullet Visited tour for 61 departments and other related offices and branches to the environmental management systems in Thai Lan, Xingapore, Malaysia, Korea, Phillipin…
bullet Play role as the focal administration in some Convention, such as Ramsar, Biodiversity, Basel.
bullet Promote the approval and contract to participating international conventions of  environmental protection.
bullet Launch the cooperating activities with UNEP, UNDP, UNIDO, WB, ADB, IUCN, WWF, IMO, CIDA, IDRC…
bullet Focal point in cooperating with ASEAN in environmental subject (ASOEN).
bullet Establish the First ASEAN Forum on environment in Hanoi ( from 20 to 24 September, 1999).
bullet Implement projects supported by UNDP, Sida, CIDA, ADB and Nederland (SEMA, VCEP, HWM, SAREC, PCM, ICZM    )
bullet Participating the UNEP/EAS regional Strategic on sea environment as the focal national agency and the member of COBSEA; Sea pollution monitoring Strategic of the IMO-RAS/92/G34 organization.
bullet Bilateral cooperation with many nations such as Swithzeland, Canada, Australia, Denmark, Sweden, Nederland, Korea, ASEAN countries and other nations in protecting the environment.
bullet Support Lao People’s Democratic Republic in building the environmental law.
bullet Implement the commitment in cooperating with Korea, Thai Lan, Australia, Rumani in environmental field.
