STRATEGIC FOR CLEANER WORLD

The strategic for Cleaner World was initially launched in Australia and then approved by UN (United Nations) as the important invention in helping people participating in the environmental protecting activities. This is the chance to prospect actions which help to build the greener world. For example: trees planting, communities education, erosion reduction, propagandize and encourage the environment protection.

Vietnam took part in the Strategy from 1994.

1994- Hanoi

The Vietnamese Environmental Protection Agency organize the Strategic in September, the 15^th  in which 10 Ministries and 9 national social organization took part in.

1995- Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh city

In September, the 17th, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh city cooperate in The World day ceremony establish. The ceremony succeed with the dense of people participating, mostly the youth within 53 cities and districts.

1996- Nam dinh province

The Strategic Ceremony was organized on September, the 17th with various activites. For example: mitting, wastes collection, streets cleaning, organize the propaganda’s schemes.

1997- Thai Nguyen province

Activities in protecting the environment comprise of: mitting, planting trees, Factories cleaning, establishing the propagandas.

1998- Ha Long city ( Quang Ninh province)

Halong city of Quang Ninh establish the Ceremony on September, the 20th in which many significant in protecting the environment was held, including mitting, wastes collection, streets cleaning, organize the propaganda’s schemes.

1999- Hung pagoda in Phu Tho province

Ceremony was organized in October, the 2nd at the Hung pagoda with many divers activities such as wastes collection, built new plants around the area, encourage and set the sanitation actions across the Viet tri city’s streets.

2000- Thai Binh province

On September, the 22th the Ceremony was held on Thai Binh town and 7 its districts. Activities included: cleaning the canals and rivers, streets, plant trees and propagandas.

2001- Ha Giang province

Activities were organized on September, the 22th cover all districts and cities in Ha Giang province, attracting numerous participants.

2002- Quang Binh province

The launching ceremony was held in Dong Hoi commune, Quang Binh province on September, the 20th.
